“Hypnotised she stands as she looks into her future and her past simultaneously, savouring a fraction of a moment, in which the significance of existence surfaces in her sea of consciousness.”

For this year’s Lensculture Portrait Award Submission it was difficult to pick one single photograph at first. But then it was clear that the final chosen image has to be this candid personal shot, which, I feel, suits our present situation with the virus and the numerous unknowns and bewilderments we are faced with.
